A kaleidscope of color
shifts and shimmers
in the mist of morning dew.
It morphs into a golden glow,
a vivid arc of light,
reflecting sunlight glancing
off twenty karat coins.
Seamus says there is a pot of gold
awaiting at the end,
if anyone can reach it.
But Seamus is a leprechaun,
and leprechauns are known for trickery
and not for truth.
If there be truly truth
and Seamus does not lie,
will luck find treasure potted there,
or does one need help from a leprechaun?
