Bless the Wounded Healer
by Euna P. (Age: 15)
copyright 04-28-2006

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Bless the one whose heart is broken
Yet only to give hope to others

Bless the one who has a torn spirit
Yet only to nurture others

Bless the one who is pained inside
Yet only to heal others

Bless the one who has fallen
Yet only helps others to stand

Bless the one who is hurt
Yet only mends others

Bless the one who bears naught but sorrow
Yet only gives others joy

Oh come now
And ask the good Lord bless this being
Ask the good Lord to bless
The Wounded Healer

This is soooo good! I know a girl like this. Even if she's crying inside and just wants to jump off a cliff, she goes out of her way to make everyone's day special. Anyone like this is special. Anyone who doesn't like them is just jealous. Admit it. :-D

As someone who is a healer herself, I can appreciate both the content and its expression. Was this intended as a prayer, self reflection, explanation or at the interpretation of the reader? It's lovely.

This is a great poem! It tells a story inside of the lines, and it's a great description of a selfless person. We all think of ourselves, but we also must make sure to worry about others, and think of how they feel about things. Not to mention that we always want to be cheerful, for a smile is like the flu. It spreads like wildfire! :D Okay, not the best comparison because the flu isn't a good thing, but you get the gist. :) I'm also glad that you started capitalizing every line! Hmm...I can't find any spelling or grammar flaws to boot. This was a good little poem, telling a story within it's lines. The flow was good, and I hope to see more soon! Great work, keep writing!

Good job! Yeah, you're right, Jessica...and it really does have a good message. say, did anyone think of Hotaru when they read this :?
Maybe that's just me, but yeah. Again, good job!

Good job! I like it, it's very inspiring and it has a good message. Other should always come before youself. it's hard to rememeber that sometimes, but if we try hard enough we can succeed. Great job I love it so much!
