Anymore (song)
by Mika L. (Age: 15)
copyright 05-07-2006

Age Rating: 4 to 127

(Verse 1)
She’s been waiting for that day you’ll return
She’s been wishing on the stars that shine so bright in the night
You don’t know all the suffering she’s been through
But you wont return anything
You’ve left her, on the night of the blue moon

(Bridge)
She’s been thinking how wonderful it would’ve been
If that fate didn’t separate them
And on the night of the full moon
She closes her eyes

(Chorus)
She cries her tears until she cant cry anymore
She makes her last wish before she can’t speak anymore
She makes her last glance
For she cannot see him anymore

(Verse 2)
She’s been finding another reason for her to live
But she can’t find that, nobody to match you
She wont let go of all the memories she been though
She wont let go
Of all the precious moments

(Bridge)
She’s been thinking how wonderful it would’ve been
If that fate didn’t separate them
And on the night of the full moon
She closes her eyes
And

(Chorus)
She cries her tears until she cant cry anymore
She makes her last wish before she can’t speak anymore
She makes her last glance
For she cannot see him anymore

(Verse 3)
All this time she’s been waiting
And you decide just to leave her standing
You’re going to betray her trust?

(Bridge)
She’s been thinking how wonderful it would’ve been
If that fate didn’t separate them
And on the night of the full moon
She closes her eyes
And

(Chorus)
She cries her tears until she cant cry anymore
She makes her last wish before she can’t speak anymore
She makes her last glance
For she cannot see him
She cannot see him…
Anymore~

There's a line that ends with "though" and I THINK you meant "through"... just curious.

I can feel the sadness of this peice and it touches me, for so oft' I've been the one left in the blue light of the moon, left to wait, left to wonder, left to wallow and die in all the what if's and could've beens. Sigh...

Thank you for sharing this.

Whats bridge?

I don't know much about song writing. But I can see that you do! I really like the theme of the song and the words used to express the sentiments expressed. I was trying to find the melody to this song, as I read it out loud! This means that you caught my attention with your work and that's not easy to do! This is a wonderful song, Mika!
