I was searching around for things to read at PnP, when I came across the collection of Heather's Feathers limericks and poems by David Pekrul (http://www.prose-n-poetry.com/display_work/14591). Talk about ROFL!! I was so inspired that I had to write a limerick for a comment, which I'm posting here. I had no idea when I wrote it that there had been such an overwhelming response to Heather and her feathers! But I obviously got caught up in it like everyone else did, even though it's more than a year later. Wish I could have been here for the original round! Anyway, here is my response:
Oh Heather, where have you gone off to
Now that your feathers are off you
You know that chilly breeze
Will cause you to freeze
And then you'll be having to cough, too
I think I have found you some duck down
Sorry it's not white, but it's brown
And I have found four...
(one for the back door)
I hope you soon come back around

Haha, I remember when the Heather's Feather's saga began. It was so much fun to read what the author's came up with next, spinning more and more of the tale. I'm glad you found them and joined in! This is a great continuation.
A Ha I got to read more about Heather! I told you I wanted to read more. I love this sorta series you two have going, It is definitly creative and it keeps her alive and interesting too.
