Music
by Euna P. (Age: 15)
copyright 05-14-2006

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Music can make you feel alive
And I know this to be a fact
Because when I feel most alive
Are when I listen to music

It may be a single insturment
or an entire symphony but
It makes me feel alive
And my soul rises with it

I push the "PLAY" button
And lean back in my chair
And close my eyes tight
And wait for it to begin

From the first note
I am caught in the beat
The notes stir my heart
My spirit flows to my fingers

I become slightly dizzy
Dizzy with joy and life
And my heart pulses with the beat
And my spirit overflows

I rise on my cloud
Up and down with the notes
And what a wonderful feeling
Better than anything

So do yourself a favor
Buy a classical music CD
Pop it into your music player
Lean back and listen

Let the notes wash over you
Just to start
Then indulge yourself in the beat
Let the waves crash over you

Let the notes throbb in your chest!
Let the beat pulse through your body!
Let the insturments play!
Let the music live on!

*This also works as a great relaxing technique, or uplifting, or... well it really depends what music you're into. Me... classical works just fine for me. ^.^ Happy listening!*

Ahh, music! I can't imagine anyone not enjoying music. Everything about it seems to be just magical. I played the violin for five years and loved it, and I still sing today. Ahhhh, music!

Do you want to know the weirdest thing? I was just about to put a Amazon order thought that's mostly music! I haven't gotten anything new since Christmas... I love all kinds of music, except rap and jazz. I really like anything Japanese though. It's been tormenting me not to have anything new, since I listen to music softly so all I can here is my clicking and the music playing when I'm writing a chapter in one of my books. I like not to hear the insanity of my house, only get relaxed my music and my own clicking away at my keyboard. I really loved this poem! Along with the topic, and the great, excuses the pun, flow and pattern of this poem. I'd say more, but I have a Amazon order to place, and Amazon only has one copy of two of the Maaya Sakamoto CDs I'm going to get... Must be going, great poem and very true! Not to mention that like Irina said, poems to follow some of the same out lines like music. :) Great work, keep writing!

Your friend,

What a pure and true poem!
The music is like the poetry, right?!
Well done, Euna! I like this work!
Irina.

This is good. I have never really listened to classical music before, but my grandma and her dog do. lol. I realyl don't have time to relax and listen to classical music, but if I do, I'll try it out.
Good write,
Shannon.
