Being of gentle nature
A wall of stone will not do
In it's stead a shadowy
Curtain of purple-hazed mist
Renders her mostly concealed
Where her many layers of fears
won't show
Her mask of politeness
Easily seen, as well as
Her many masquerade gowns
Being the extent to which
She can be seen
A coquettish game
Of hide and seek
Is the rumor floating
Around the town
She's obscure, and vague in speech
As dusty memories
Kick up cotton-ball clouds
About her words which wipe up
Any spilled sunshine dripping
From her eyes
Like life one can see what she does
But not what she is
Like knowing things are
And not knowing why
To read her story
Is like reading the scriptures
Open to speculation and interpretation
No more than that
Looking close one can see
Her premonition of danger
Fear boiling up from
The depths of her soul
But why, don't ask
It's not given to you
To know

I just want to say, that I personally really enjoyed this little masterpeice and I hope you keep writting just like this, it is very sad what you say, and also very true, but it has a happy ending and that's all because of you. Great write, good job, thanks,
