Night Whispering

If only I was a white dove
I'd fly to your home with singing.
If only I was a blue flower
I'd bloom in your gentle arms this night.

Listen to a silence,
Hear a sad woman's love,
Hear a shy whispering for you
In a blue light of all long nights.

The imagery of this is very peaceful and comforting. I think due to the colors involved. It made me think of being wrapped up, very sweet.

Love the picture.I loved the poem. Short and yet with feeling. Awesome write. Should have more comments though. Take care.

I'm contemplating the colors on this poem: the blue and the white. They are evoked as pure poetry and can be many things in the stillness of the mind. A wonderful, still piece of poetry.
