This Very Moment

I wondered what it'd be like
To love something so much.
To feel despair
When they're not there
And joy upon their touch.

How wonderful it could be
To be loved in return.
To learn to live
Strive to forgive
Times you have been burned.

No matter what Had happened
One thing I do know.
You're heaven sent
This very moment
I love you
And I'll tell you so!

To read this is beautiful, to say it out loud almost brings tears! Your words seem to be "Meant to Be" like these words were always meant to be put in this exact order forever and they truely will be for all of us here on PNP but to the rest of the world they don't know what they are missing!Beautiful

Ah, to be loved, and to love, and to enjoy what life we have! To take in the beauty of the moment with someone you love.
Precious memories.. we need to remember that the memories of tomorrow are made today!
As usual, well done.. You have the girls swooning! (wink)

Sigh... such beauty... like a rainbow that reminds us of something on a grander scale... how insignificant some problems seem... how in the light of a bigger picture they pale!

This is so sweet! I hope everyone, at some time in their life, knows these feelings. And once you know these feelings, you have to live for the moment, and make it last a lifetime! Thanks for this heartfelt write!

Wonderful poem, Anthony! Poems about love, and strong friendship seem to suddenly be of interest to me all of a sudden.

What form of poem is this? I really like it, and it looks fairly simple. Rhyming and me don't get along much, so anything that's simple, with minimal rhyming is good for me!

Short and sweet, but very powerful no doubt, just like I like 'em, I have a hard time doing it but I love reading it, great write, good job, thanks,

Regina

This touched a chord with me, perhaps because I am going through this, this very moment! I like the fact that, "in this moment," you told her so! It is now that counts, not tomorrow, nor yesterday. Let's do things now! Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to come. Very nicely done, Anthony!
