Those Lovely Girls
by David Pekrul
copyright 06-14-2006

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Both here and all around the world,
I love the ladies, love the girls,
I love to see them sway and dance,
The girls from Spain, the girls from France.

Tahitians dance to drummers' beat,
With swaying hips and shuffling feet,
Their skirts of grass around their hips,
And pretty smiles upon their lips.

The girls of Californ-I-A,
Dance on the beach, where oft' they play,
And run around in skimpy clothes,
And show much more than hands and toes.

The girls of Ipanema Beach,
They come to learn, and come to teach,
The ways to move their lips and eyes,
To pick up all those handsome guys.

But though I love so many girls,
With wavy hair, and some with curls,
The only one who's right for me,
Is Dovie Lynn; she sets me free.

AWWW! HOW CUTE!

The ending was adorable...and made me actually giggle. This is a beautiful peace, and one that actually makes it worth a five rating!

OMG! That was so CUTE!

It reminded me I think of a Beach Boys song? I can't remember the name, but reading this made me want to listen to it again :)

If I'm not mistaken, you're back early!? Welcome back, if you are indeed back. You've been missed.
As usual, your writing seems to just flow right out of you, without faltering....no hesitation! You have an amazing talent for writing, one that I both envy and am appreciative of. I know you said you stumble sometimes while writing, but it sure as heck doesn't seem like it!
