Just Tell Me the Truth for Once!
by Leah Garrison (Age: 20)
copyright 06-17-2006

Age Rating: 13 to 127

I haven't written poems since you broke my heart;
Seems my creative spirit has been cruelly ripped apart.

How could you have gone three months without a word?
To claim you were "very busy" is insultingly absurd.

I am writing now to you because I cannot write for him;
If that is any solace, fill your basin to the brim.

You once said you tried to hate me, and I choke on your name, too.
But what would you now tell me if you were forced to say what's true?

I have a nice long poem that I want to post, but...
I can't pay my dues...

good poem...seems so easy for you to write exactly how you feel.Good ryhming too.
You should make it a bit longer, maybe with what you think he would say back.

Leah,
I hope this isn't a "This is your life poem".
Are you a dark poet?

Good expression!

Rich
