You show you like me,
when I return the feeling, you bite my heart.
You ask me out,
I go along, you bite my heart.
I don't know what is worse,
Liking you or listening to my friends.
One half says yes, but my heart doesn't listen,
The other says it's all a lie, I agree.
You continue to show signs I can't see.
You act stupid around me, remember 5th grade?
I still try to act the part, your friends laugh,
You show in front of your friends, POOF, you bite my heart.
I don't know who to trust, my friends or your's?
I again tag along, you bite my heart.
You flirt with only me but when I see, you go 'Next'.
I don't know who is worse, you or me?
I know you are worse because I did what you did and you bit my heart.
(Short, cruel, and to the point. "Love Bits, it bleeds, It's bringing me to my knees" had to quote-love that song.)

Love bites! My advise here is: bite back. The more you love (give) the more you get back. Lots of good people in the world worth the effort. I did like the way this poem sounds...you bite my heart! I could say this 10 times. Turn the volume up a notch every time it comes out of my mouth. Poof! You're the magic in this mix. I enjoyed...off to read the next one.

its true love bites sometimes but aaay when its your turn you'll forget about the bites because real love and love that someone gives you in return its wonderful really but you keep getting bitten till you get to the one that heals it all thats the part that "bites" really lol but its worth it and it makes you all the wiser :) good work keep it up. When love works it's beautiful, when love doesn't work, it's the next thing to death.
But who ever said love was easy. Keep hanging in there and looking for some one who treats you well.
The poem was powerful and well written.
Thanks for writing this. If you get a chance drop by my site and read "What more could you take?". I think you will like it.

Wonderful! This is a truly wonderful poem you've written here. Time heals all wounds. No matter how much blood is spilled, time always heals the wound. We may think we'll never get over it, and we'll keep bleeding forever, but we never do. Just always remember, you have your PnP friends who are just an e-mail away. :) I can tell you're still in pain, but like I said, you've got friends in reality, and on PnP. I can't fin any typos here, and I really like this piece! The flow was good, and I hope to see more pieces as good as this one. Thank you for entering my contest too! Great work, keep writing!

Alma, we have all been in these kind of situations. When we give ourselves over so completely to someone and they play with our heart like it's some kind of cruel game. Just know that one day you will meet someone that is worthy of your time.
I am here if you need someone to talk to, Tabitha.
