Everthing's not as it seems
Every man is for himself
He does for him and cares for him
And thinks of no one else

The rain it pours and tears they fall
As gently as the snow
People die as it were nothing
Man's selfishness does grow

Creation is another story
That is what they all say
"How can we believe that there's a god
Whom everyday we pray?"

But there is proof that no one sees*
It requires strength and faith
To live a life like Jesus Christ
In this world today

And these things must come to pass
To see Heaven as it is
And we'll be judged on whom had faith
And lived like Jesus Christ

*This is a figure of speech...kind of, but it's just because the Christian faith is getting less and less popular, that's all.

I liked this poem very much- it illustrates a lamentation to the loss of faith that so many people live and feel. Nice poem.

Your poetry is getting more involved and has much more depth than when you first started writing. The witness of your faith is wonderful and you share it so well in poetry. I'm very proud of you. Keep it up.
