Let Me Love You

  Let Me Love You

You're pushing me away tonight,
And I won't let it happen.
I'm staying home so we can make it right,
I just hope it don't come down to us slappin'.

Please let me in and talk to me,
I just wanna love you; won't you surrender.
I can't just leave it alone or let it be,
Understand that my heart and soul are in a blender.

Let me hold you and love you right now,
Put your arms around me and say you love me too.
Why can't I talk without you having a cow,
Don't let our dreams fade or make me sad'n'blue.

Let me kiss your worries away,
And make you and I whole again.
If this continues; You can have it your way,
I'll leave if it will ease the pain.

I love you and don't know what else to say,
Oh I know you love me so; to this day,
So let me be your wife to stay.
And let me love you all the way!

Very loving poem from a very loving heart.

I marvel at how you can take the risks to leave yourself wide open.

Those willing to accept the pain
will surely receive the utmost of pleasure.

Stay as open and loving as you are.

The structure, rhythm and rhyme were good.

Well written.

Keep 'em coming.

Your friend,

~Rich

I really like the rhyme scheme. Your poem is well written. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to read more.
