A Farewell Message To My Friends At PnP
by Richard Reed Jr
copyright 07-09-2006

Age Rating: 7 to 127

I have been engaged in warfare with an unrelenting enemy, Parkinson's Disease which at the moment has mounted an offensive maneuver which has me in full retreat.

If and when I shall be able to mount an effective counter-attack is certainly unknown today.

I will remain here, but will not be able to remain as active as I once was.

Please accept my most grateful thank you for all you have done for me; for the many times you have given me hope when I could not generate my own.

Most fondly,

Rich

How did I miss this one? I hope you are winning this one.. there are so many treatments out there, but which one for you?
Please write me any time.
And in case I haven't said it before, thank you my friend, for the kindness shown to my daughter and me. It has really meant a lot to us both. Debbie
P.S. I'm glad you are still here and writing!

I'm going to miss you so much, you have always been there for me and you have been such a great friend.
Thanks,
Shannon

Yes, like the others have said, and I must say that you are the only one who has said that you want to be my friend on PnP and you still are my only friend, I too hope that you are ok.
Thanks a lot for being my first friend!

You friend
Tasha W =)

Your presence is felt, whether you are able to comment as often as you had or not. I, too, am not able to be here as often as I wish nor as often as I was. However, I am here when I can be as are you I'm sure. You know you're in my prayers always. Take care my friend!

Hey, Rich, I'm so sorry that I did not see this post sooner. I do trust you will supersede this malady and I know God will look out for. I know that he will remove all the stumbling blocks from your road. I know that we have communicated since this posting, but I wanted to acknowledge it and wish you well. You will get better!

Having received a wonderful and welcome comment from you SINCE you posted this just a few days ago, tells me that the title you labeled this post with is not quite accurate.

When I saw the title, I rushed to read this post, thinking you were leaving PnP for good. I hope I am correct in assuming this is not the case, that you just won't be posting as often.

I will look forward to seeing, and will welcome any of your comments on my work, as the ones that I have seen so far are either heartfelt or helpful, or sometimes both.

I hope you will be okay, and I really hope to keep seeing you here OFTEN at PnP.

Take care, and my prayers are with you...

Your friend,
BJ

T T I hope you'll be okay

Oh god...you don't need to worry about being as active. Just to know that you are still here is okay. Drop us a line to update us on how you're doing rather regularly, as we will miss you dearly, and I know that you'll at least be on my mind every day.

I will pray for you, and I hope that everything is all right. Please be okay...and know that if you ever run out of hope, we here have enough to share with you
