Went swimmin’ with the girlfriend the other night,
I don’t know where she gone.
I picked up a girl at a bar today. Looked real fine in that wet lookin’ “T”.
So we went down to the beach today and swam in that wet warm sea.

Light blue azure skies and palm trees, now that girl she left me too.
Sandshark swimmin’ up on my leg. Got to get out of the water soon.

I don’t want to lose too many girls this way.
There’s just too many other ways.

I met a pretty woman I couldn’t refuse.
I didn’t take her to the beach that night.
Azure skies and wet warm seas don’t make it easy with....
Sandsharks at your knees.

Light blue azure skies and palm trees, ocean wash up on the shore.
Sandshark swimmin’ up on my leg. Got to get out of the water.

We went back to my place that night,
And did not wake until the morning light.
Did not know how to say good bye...
Went down to the shore for one more try.
Sandshark got her ten feet from the shore,
Now I don’t have to worry about her no more...

Light blue azure skies and palm trees, ocean wash up on the shore.
Sandshark swimmin’ up on my leg. Got to get out of the water.
Light blue azure skies and palm trees, ocean wash up on the shore.
Sandshark swimmin’ up on my leg. Got to get out of the water.
