Lost At Sea

Lost at Sea...
In a land of make believe
I've got nothing but your love
Nothing but your love to save me

Washed up on the sand
Where it all began
Surrounded by what I see
But I can't find you... I make believe...
* In between here
Is you and me
Somewhere far away in the distance
Where I used to be
I call out for you -
To find me
(Lead)
(repeat chorus*)
Lost at Sea...
In a land of make believe
I've got nothing but your love
Nothing but your love to save me

If I could bridge this tide
That rises to my eyes
I would sail the sea
With your love to guide me...
In between here
Is you and me
Somewhere far away in the distance
Where I used to be
I call out for you -
To find me
(Lead)
If I could bridge this tide
That rises to my eyes
I would sail the sea
With your love to guide me...
In between here
Is you and me
Somewhere far away in the distance
Where I used to be
I call out for you -
To find me
Washed up on the sand... Where it all began...

This stands on it's own, but how much more the pleasure if we could only hear that sad guitar accompaniment. To me it's 3AM music with a drink in a smoky bar.

Well done Greg! This is a very poetic song. Strong emotions always create the best results. You poem is an emotional beauty. I wish I could hear the music but it does well on its own. Very good song!
