Thank You, Thank you for my beautiful surprise,
You startled me so much; I had tears in my eyes.

It truly was shocking when you unveiled me in the shower,
And asked me to close my eyes; I thought you had bought me a little flower.

Oh but I knew I was dead wrong when you slipped a ring on my finger,
I started to cry and wanted these feelings to linger.

I can't stop looking at my gift or in your eyes,
You didn't forget our Anniversary; instead you gave me butterflies.

It's amazing how good you have made me feel,
And to know that these three diamonds are real;
Ties my stomach in knots and makes me want to squeal.
Oh baby! I'm so happy that you too are the real deal.
