  I Don't See The Rain

I don't see the rain that falls around me
I don't feel the pain that hurts my body
But I hear your voice that haunts my memory
And it calls when night is confused with day... with day

Halfway there is where I am
Lost in a maze... outlined in pain
Day after darkness - after every day
Day after darkness - in love with you

There sits a picture I painted with a word
It's your picture - on my dresser
By a mirror framed in blue
The words a reflection faded with the days
And the image of you is all that remains... the same

All the people that I've known
Seem so sad... alone
They speak of all their lovers
And the memories they still hold

Empty words of reflection, faded with the days
And the image of you is all that remains... the same

Halfway there is where I am
Lost in a maze... outlined in pain
Day after darkness - after every day
Day after darkness - in love with you

I don't see the rain that falls around me
I don't feel the pain that hurts my body
But I hear your voice that haunts my memory
And it calls when night is confused with day... with day
