I have finally moved on
With some hard work and thought
It wasn't easy, I'll give you that
But I found friendship can't be bought
If it's forced upon a person it doesn't last long
Even if the person doesn't know it
People break apart, it's day to day life
Only true friendships don't quit
I didn't know what to think
To be mad, sad or what
But I was mostly confused
I felt like my heart was cut up
But now I can smile
And I can do it with ease
Because I've learned to forgive
But cherish the memories

Your poems are showing that you are starting to mature. They are showing true feelings and a mature spirit. Very good.
One line I don't understand is this:
"Because I've learned to forget
But cherish the memories"
One line seems to be in conflict with the other, but maybe that's because I don't know exactly what you were thinking.
Perhaps, if you are talking about moving on and forgiving those who left you, it could be something like:
"Because I've learned to forgive,
And cherish the memories"
Just a suggestion, but still this is a great poem.
^^ I totally agree with Lauren. True friendship really lasts forever. I live in Korea and before that I used to live in the States. I always thought that I had a lot of friends but when I went to Korea and I no longer saw my friends anymore, I suddenly know who was my true friend. True friends really care about you.
I like it, its very true. Real Friendship lasts forever! I don't like when people are faking to be your friends, but that separtates the real friends from the fake ones. Great Write!
