(haiku)

***

Sunbeam tries to catch
laughing squirrel on the path.
Sleepy forest yawns...

***

Sleeping river beach,
empty like a cuckoo's nest.
Tired afternoon.

***

Softest wind tickles
Sighing evening's ripe dew-drops.
Silence of silence.

***

Echo of whispers.
Hugged by love, two white doves sleep.
God smiles in the dark.

Irina: Excellent series of haikus, as usual, you are the master of this poetic form. All are filled with nature and its beauty and your descriptions are the very best.

With great affection,
Gregory

These are such nice and vivid descriptions of nature. You do very well with Haiku. I have written a few and know that they are not easy to do, but you make it seem so easy.
These would be nice to tuck away and read again when life is getting us down. I think they would help put everything back into perspective.
