Blossoming Butterfly
by Jessica P. (Age: 15)
copyright 08-28-2006

Age Rating: 7 to 127

People change so much
And then their heart's not the same
They discover that life
Isn't all just a game

With some laughter comes sorrow
And your hope will then bend
You feel you can't take anymore,
And you're at your wits end

But don't lose all your hope
For there'll still be room to see
How precious life is
And you can still live happily

Search inside yourself
When you don't know where to go
And you'll blossom inside
Like a beautiful cho*

*Cho means butterfly in Japanese

This is upbeat, positive, and I love it. I like the way you brought a Japanese word into the mix. It fits so nicely.
This poem is very smooth and delightful. This is probably one of your best, in my opinion.
