The Little Voice Inside my Head

I think about you from time to time
I see you now and then
I've never really missed you guys
I don't really want to talk to you again

You somehow manage to pop into my head
At really random times
I guess I don't feel about it anymore
But then why does it go into rhymes?

I'm kind of happy, to say the least
That we're no longer friends
'Cause sure, you were a lot of fun
But also brought around some dreads

To live on the edge and go place to place
Is totally not me
I know you said that I was boring
Now finally I see

You weren't my type; I wasn't yours
I got in with the wrong crowd
I'm fine with it, I guess you are too
You need drama, I need my own ground

Very wise words, Jess, and very well spoken. They may think you're boring; I don't. You're a great kid and I think you have lots of potential. I think you're going to go far in life.
