*A Tribute to the Twin Towers and Flight 93*

The falling of World Trade Center
The crash of flight 93
Explosives here, terrorists there
How much scarier can any world be?

The flight that fought until the end
The last seconds of their lives
They were heroes and were brave until
The plane crashed when it dived

Hijacked planes flew through the air
Suicidal attempts at war
Into the tallest buildings on earth
Many people watched them soar

It left us in shock and in gruesome fear
So many people cried
Some still pray, that never again
Will they see so many people die

Survivors are, to say the least
Happy to be alive
But walking through injured and dead
I would be scarred for life

Flight 93 fought to it's end
Brave people were aboard
Ordinary heroes who, until that day
Didn't know what their lives were heading toward

I'll never forget the day 9/11, 2001
In memories of all those lost
People remember every year
Take a moment for all the lives it cost

Wow. Gave me chills.
Really well written...I think we all remember where we were and what we were doing when 9/11 happened.

I was in 4th grade when 9/11 happened. My teachers didn't explain to us what had happened, they just said that a few planes crashed and we weren't aloud to go outside for recess. My aunt who lives in NYC saw the twin towers fall. I could never imagine what it was like seeing so much death in such horrific ways.
Great job,
Kate
