The night is over swept in silence,
As the wind howls at the moon sending chills,
Down my spine like an icy finger.
The moon is full shining brightly turning red,
As the song of the wolf echoes through the shadows,
Swirling the mist around as if it's in a haunting dance.
The dead leaves rattle across the barren roads,
Changing the scene from fearful to haunting,
As the screeching owl transforms into a wild soul,
Moaning in the dark of night scaring those who are fearful.
The cemetery whisperers through the wind,
Creating an eery sound as millions of voice speak at once,
The black cat with piercing green eyes glow through the fog.
As a spirit begins to haunt houses out of spite,
Rattling furniture around making great commotion,
From the agony it once lived.
