Do Not Disturb

  Do Not Disturb

Do not disturb;
Well it's because I'm rather perturbed
About a few things that are absurd
And you don't speak a word.

No willingness to express
No feelings to oppress
I'm through with this mess
How much more can I stress

I give and you take
While I'm asleep or awake
You push no effort to make
Our lives a piece of cake

Harder and harder I try still
To keep up my good will
Hoping I can last until
You show me some kind of thrill!

I wrote this about a year ago when my husband and I were going through some tough times.
We are great now but at the time I was so frustrated that I wrote this down to feel some what better and to vent.
It's kinda silly so enjoy. If you say it fast it might even be a tongue twister!

I am very happy things are much better for you now. I really enjoyed this. I think it is a great way to express your "distress" about getting him to talk to you. Keep it up. :)

Your Friend,
Melissa
