Hey, if you're reading this and you haven' read part one, go and read it...lol=P Tell me what you think please! This is the final version so be kind ¬.¬'
Serena had woken up the next morning sweating, the sat up and thought about the dream, it was weird and Serena didn't know what it meant
“Why would I be attacking my friends? Why would I?”. She was completely confused by the dream and went to school. She was early for school for once, Mina was early too! She came to Serena
“Serena are you OK?” Mina looked a bit concerned but Serena wasn't stupid
“You want to know if I'm talking to Raye, don't you Mina?” Mina was shocked and Serena walked off. She hated them for this, how can they? They always made fun of her and whenever she was serious everyone either hated her or pretended to be nice. Serena decided to ignore them all.
she's that good, then she can be the leader of you lot! I don't care any more!” with that she took off her broach and flung it to the cold ground, it hit the wall and Mina gasped
“Serena, what are you doing? We do care about you..” Mina watched Serena, to see if the cold expression left her, it didn't.
“Shut up! I'm doing what I have wanted o do from the beginning!” Serena's eyes were stinging with tears, and she ran out of the class. She found it difficult but she wanted to get away from everybody, she looked behind her, to check if Mina was there, she wasn't. Serena started to walk after that. She knew that she shouldn't but, she went to Darien's apartment.
Serena was sat on one of the chairs in Darien's living room, she was drinking hot chocolate. Darien came in to the room
“So, tell me what happened and why you're here and not at school” Darien asked and took a big sip of coffee.
“Well, Raye has been so insulting, I mean she insults me about something that she doesn't even know about! I haven't felt well and I got really tired when doing PE yesterday I mean, she is stupid and Mina and the rest are siding with her!” She looked at him to see what he said next,
“To tell you the truth Serena, I think that you two are being pathetic, I mean you argument is over something small, you two need to grow up!” He wasn't looking at Serena, but when he heard a clatter he looked up to see, Serena had shot up from her seat and had dropped the mug of hot chocolate all over his carpet. Her eyes were burnt into Darien's and they began to sting with tears.
“You, Mina and the others are all the same! You, just because you have had a couple of dates with her doesn't mean that you side with her! I can't stand it any more!” she let the tears run down her face “I hate the way you guys treat me, like I'm a piece of dirt!” Serena's eyes left Darien's and were looking at the floor, she turned and was about to run, but Darien had grabbed her arm,
“Serena, you are going over board with this! We don't treat you like dirt! You totally took what I said the wrong way!” Serena screamed at him and got loose from his tight grip. She quickly walked to the door,
“Tell you what, if you like Raye that much, you can go out with her! I have given up my role up as Sailor Moon! There is no need to protect me now, you can protect Sailor Mars, as you seem to like her more! I don't want to be protected and I'm telling you now, I wouldn't care if I never saw your face again! You hear that?!” With that, she removed her engagement ring and flung it to the ground, near Darien's feet, she then ran out of the door, Darien was telling her to wait, he chased her out of the building but once outside, he lost sight of her.
It was the time where the other kids would be leaving school. Serena was wondering around town she was mad with everyone, and it made her upset that she couldn't tell anyone anything. Serena thought about telling Luna,
“I could tell her, but what if she decides to tell everyone what I have said to her? If Luna was a normal cat, I could confine in her, but no, she's a talking cat!” Serena was mumbling to herself. She finally arrived home. It was 4 O'clock, the normal time that Serena would come home after a detention. She wanted to go straight to her room, but she was hungry because she didn't have any dinner what so ever. She decided to ask her mum for something,
“Mum, I'm hungry! Do we have any snacks? I'm starving!” Serena slowly walked into the kitchen and saw that there was some, her mum said that she could have some, so Serena ate loads. Normally she would be concerned that she'd get fat, now she didn't, she thought that everyone hated her and she was mad at everyone so who cared? Serena's mum walked into the kitchen and told Serena that her cousin Rini would be visiting in a week or two. Serena was shocked she almost shocked,
“What? Since when? How did you find out?” Serena was shocked also because her mum found out before she did, Rini was her daughter. Serena's thought were draw to Rini, now that she was pregnant with her, her mum didn't know that she was having a girl or the fact that the girl that was soon to visit was the girl that she was having. Serena heard her name and went to see who it was,
“Serena, can you please go to the shop and get me the newspaper? I forgot and I was in a rush.” It was Serena's dad, Serena didn't want to but she couldn't tell her dad that
“OK, I'll go.” She was hesitant in case she saw her 'friends'.
When she returned she was tired, what ever was making her like this was getting worse. She was almost going to sleep when Sammy came into the living room,
“Hey, someone's upstairs for you! Are you just going to lay there?” he stuck his tongue out at her. Serena wondered who it was, Sammy told her it was one of her friends,
“Which one is it Sammy?” she wanted to know and Sammy said that it was Amy. Serena didn't really want to talk to any of them, she gave Amy credit for actually staying out of this argument.
When Serena finally entered the room, she saw Amy who was sat on her bed,
“Serena, do you want me here? If you don't then I will leave.” Amy looked at her, concern was in her face. Serena just looked at her
“No, you don't have to go. I haven't had a proper conversation all day...” Serena was topped by Amy
“I know, Mina went telling us that you two had an argument and you ran out of school. I guess, that's why I'm here now.” Amy placed her right hand in her right jacket pocket, she took out Serena's transformation broach,
“I'll leave it here, in case you change your mind about being Sailor Moon...” Amy was talking but Serena wasn't looking at her
“You can keep it!” Serena was mad at Amy, the girls had the nerve to go and get Amy to protect them again. “Give it to Raye, I mean, she seems to think that she would be a better leader than I am! Even if I was to take up the role of Sailor Moon, I would fight on my own, without any one helping me!” Serena's anger was building, Amy thought that it was a good time to leave. She picked up Serena's locket and said,
“OK, I'll go, but I won't give it to Raye. See you at school tomorrow.”
Serena had seen Amy to the door and when she had gone, she heard the phone ring
“Hello? Is this Serena?” It was Darien, Serena had frozen and could only manage a small yes,
“Good! Serena, I really need to talk to you. I am sorry If I some how managed to offend you, you just took what I said the wrong way...” He was cut off by Serena, who was no longer frozen,
“How dare you ring me?! I have no need to talk to you! I told you once, don't make me say it again, I don't care about anything that you said, you chose Raye over me! I hate you!!!” With that, she slammed down the phone hard. Tears were streaming down her face and before her family could see, she ran up to her room. She sat on her bed and stared sadly at a picture of her and Darien, she regretted what she had said to him and then she found it hard to breathe and collapsed.
When Serena eventually came round, Luna was sat on her bed next to her,
“Serena, me and the other girls were talking earlier, and Raye said that she was sorry for what trouble that she has caused you,” Luna saw that Serena's face was full of anger but she carried on “Raye said that if you don't call her by the week-end, she would say that your and her friendship was over, but if you ring her she will apologize.” Serena was shocked, part of her hated Raye and the other part didn't, and that half wanted to be friends again.
Serena was wide awake at eleven, she decided to ring Raye and apologize. She dialled her number and after three rings Raye picked up the phone
“Hello? This is Raye, who is this?” It was obvious that she was half asleep and it made Serena laugh
“I thought that I was supposed to be the lazy one, but looks like you proved me wrong!” Serena could tell that she had made Raye awake.
“Serena?! Oh Serena, I'm so sorry for what I said...” Raye started but Serena cut her off and wanted to tell her side:
“You know, you don't have to apologize! I should have laughed at your joke and I am lazy. One thing that got me mad was, I wasn't feeling too well at the time, I know I shouldn't have been mean but I couldn't help it...” Serena did a loud yawn and told Raye she was tired. They agreed to meet at her temple after school.
Serena, surprisingly, arrived early for school the next day. her friends were not there yet so she had to wait for them, Serena thought about how early she was,
“I'm only early because I rushed to avoid Darien. I have to apologize but that will be hard for me, i can't face him as I've been so cruel.” Her friends arrived and asked her what she was thinking about, all Serena said was
“Nothing is wrong and I wasn't thinking about nothing, honestly.” she smiled at them and they went to go and get registered.
Dinner came quickly and Serena spent it with her friends. She didn't have much and what she did have was healthy
“God, Serena is actually eating healthy food for once” Mina said and they all laughed. Serena was eating the salad sandwich that she had bought and then all of a sudden she felt ill,
“I'm not feeling too well, can I go out alone and go for a bit of fresh air?” It was true, she didn't look too well neither
“Yeah, but you don't have to ask! If you don't feel well you can go.” Lita said and before she had stopped Mina from saying no. She returned in about five minutes and she apologized. Before the bell, she told them to meet up at Raye's temple, they all agreed to that and went to their next lessons.
Serena was proud of herself for being earlier than the others. She said that the only reason why she came was to apologize to Raye in person. Serena spent a couple of minutes looking for her when she came across her near one of the trees,
“Raye, I've already apologized but I feel like I haven't done it without saying it to your face.” Raye looked at her, her face showed that she was puzzled,
“I doesn't matter! Seriously and anyway where are the rest? I suppose that they'll be coming soon” Serena told Raye that they would. In the conversation they went through almost everything that they had said on the phone. Raye, then asked Serena if she had apologized to the others, she was hesitant to answer because she had not yet apologized to Darien. Not long after and the others came to join the two, they were happy that Raye and Serena were on talking terms again. Mina reached her hand into her pocket and took out Serena's broach
“Here, do you want it?” Mina asked and Serena moved Mina's hand away
“No, not yet. When I sort one more thing out I will think about it OK?” Mina said yes but was worried about her. She wondered what other thing that Serena had to sort out.
