Wings

  Wings

There is a girl on the other side of the sky.
She has wings but she cannot fly.

Ever since I met you, I started to have these dreams.

The cerulean sky and the aqua ocean...
It makes me want to spread my wings and fly.

I want to be friends with you.
I want to be friends,
But these endless tears hold me back.

This summer will be fun because I met you.

Let's go to the beach and play in the sand.
And when it's time to go,
We'll get up and say 'Bye, bye'.

I hold up my two fingers,
And say 'v' to show that I'm okay.
But the girl inside with wings is hurting so much.

There is a girl in the other side of the sky with wings.

You seem to have captured the admiration and praise from some of the finest writers on PnP. All one need do is read your works and the understanding comes. I'm not familiar with that particular anime, but the poem is outstanding. Again, another offering so well done, so well dressed in a poet's clothes, that I can, again, say only, Thank you. ^^

emotion explodes to the page, writer captures the audience and holds them, image takes the mind allowing a feel of story teller, a visit
of another place and in side a thought, gifted write.. Walt

*nods approvingly* My only suggestion is at the very end if it still applies add the, "She has wings but she cannot fly." Superior choice of words and structure. We all base poems of animes, or books, or even video games sometimes. :) If they're emotional video games like FFX then I can see why... Anyway, randomizing a little! The ending didn't seem to fully relate to the beginning, because you don't really expect something like that to be mixed in, but I reread the poem and it made more sense. Probably would make perfect sense if I read the anime's description on Wikipedia. :) Another great anime, RahXephon. Anyway! You have a few lines that I'd like to see caps, but you have it set up where you could easily get away without them. Great work! Keep it coming!

P.S.One of my first hit poems, "Why?" was based off my fan fiction for an anime...XD

A very moving and emotional poem.

Very well written.

I think sometimes we all have wings, but cannot fly.

Thanks for this poem.

Wow... this is an extremely sad poem. I feel so sorry for that girl who has wings but can't fly. It must be terrible to have to live with something like that.

The emotion was expressed very clearly, and I really liked the format of the poem. No complaints.
