Edgar's Anne

So the river winds to the place a while ago
Drops the raindrops like the melting snow
Sea foams in the real of make believe
Crystal falls in new found armory of you know
Lea side of the boat calls me into the fading float

Daddy pushed the swing so high thought I could fly
Me just standing on a wing and prayer
Take the pleasant of a kitten holding child
Sea calls the moon and the stars wild

Blessing float across the fate called Love
Lea lays in dreams of the person she will be
Seek the faith of a tributary in Heaven
Me try to flee from sleeping kiss

Tries of heart takes the path left long ago
Sea sparkles in admiration for the love
Chilling stands the monument love
Soft a picture takes me to Lea waiting

Came the day in pay of trouble late
Walk lover no run please catch me
Sepulcher fails to hold souls lost
As the waves wash clean my Sea

Heaven takes its path covered in gold
Fingers wallow in the taking heart of me
Know sadness accepting a candle and bottle empty
Head lowered into the wall hues in pure blue sea

Night wind travels as searching eyes left
Hurt price escaped ceiling tasking my fate in Lea
Love pounds stories of passion quill to ink
We find all pages left cold and blank to stare

Purchase in field left to read lantern light just we
Above hates escaping the devils request in view
Sea pauses to take all rightful present known
Lingering echo soaking loves pure nuance of soul

Lea looks east and west in dreams of ghost coming
Fast ride the fates of heroes finding only dreams
Lea cries for me in waste laid by her heart like stone
Touch her eyes play the soft lay my heart by her side

Bride takes across the horizon of freedom
Sea stops to keep a rest of faith
Sleep found a palace in season beneath a barren sea

Written as tribute to Edgar Allen Poe

I find this a great tribute to Poe.
It's written in his style.
And captures the mood of his poems very well.

Excellent write Walt,

Rich
