~The Demons Dance~
by Jeniffer Brand (Age: 38)
copyright 08-01-2007

Age Rating: 7 to 127

I'm half asleep, the day now gone, secure I'm in my bed.
My eyes I close, time to relax, I need to clear my head.

I drift away to find some peace, at once I'm in a trance.
As if awake, I look around to see the demons dance!

I sit straight up, confused and scared, through darkness I can see.
Around my bed, dressed all in black, they sing as they call me.

I look again, I'm swept away, this dungeons dark and cold.
In front of me, he stands so tall, I feel his souls so old.

I'm scared as hell, it's Satan's call, so evil, death is near.
He tugs my soul, he wants my heart, his voice is bold and clear.

I scream out loud, "I will no go for I belong to God!"
"I won't die here, my soul is free, my Lord is not a fraud!"

I pray out loud, to God I cry, I fight with all my might.
Now Satans gone, no demons dance, and God is in my sight.

He holds me close, a smile so dear, his eyes oh how they shine.
"Don't fear my child, I'm always close, know now that you are mine."
