What I Don't Like About PnP

There's only a few things I'm not fond of, but I'll list them here for Mr. Betts' other contest.

1. Lack of commenting. Hence the birth of the Samantha H's Commenting Circle, my Commenting Crusaders, and now the Commenting Community. We try to boost commenting, so I'm glad we're going to expand and become more intense, and if we can grow this problem with grow smaller.

2. Not enough people enter contests. Half the time, it has the same cause as the lack of commenting...laziness. I find myself thinking before starting contests, "Now, is anybody going to enter this one?" I was thinking of incorporating something about contests with the Commenting Community if the others like the idea, because authors shouldn't get contests with no entries, even if the contest topic is hard. If it's hard, then it's also more challenging! If you never strive to work harder, then you will never improve!

3. Finally, although with a fifth director this is also being resolved a little, things take a little too long to be approved. This doesn't bother me too much, but it's a con to PnP that I know bothers other people a lot.

A few other thing bothered me, like disorganized galleries, but that's been resolved...a little less pink would be nice though. :)

Overall, there aren't many things that bother me about PnP. This is a really great site, the best if you ask me, and I know the faults will never bother me enough that I quit, instead of help resolve them...I do have one request though! In chat, for there to be an evil smile emoticon! Perhaps a code of :X? Chat needs a evil smile. :D

True. But most of the time i really don't have anything to say. I just go like Ah, nice~ in my mind and then I have to practically write it into a story. But then again this is a writing site so........ XD

Yes! Chat simply cannot do without an evil smiley! I mean, how are you supposed to look evil when the best you can do is with a weird red little face with vampire fangs? That's not evil, anyway! It's angry!

A little less pink would be nice... :D I've grown used to it though. Actually, the background color doesn't seem pink to me anymore. Well, at least not *as* pink. It's more of a pale mix of pink and lavender.

Huzzah, first comment!

By the way, you made a mistake in the first line. "Found of". Perhaps you mean "Fond of"?
And you repeated Commenting twice when you mentioned the CC!

And yes, I agree about the contests. It's quite annoying when you go to the length of creating a new contest, offering a prize too, and nobody enters. And many times, only one person enters, so he/she gets the entire prize without any competition!

You could argue that I don't exactly enter every contest either, but it's not because I'm lazy. The ones I don't enter, I don't have an idea for. For examply, I am planning to enter Mr. Betts contest of what I like about PnP, but not the one for what I don't like. Because I don't know of any unlikable thing other than the stuff you already mentioned.

I applaud your taking the time to say your thoughts and be an active member! Great job!
