Puddle of Red
by Shannon W. (Age: 16)
copyright 07-11-2007

Age Rating: 13 to 127

It started as a screaming match,
Then it got out of hand and things started to detach.

They both yell,
Wishing each other to hell.

The girl accusing the guy of lies,
The boy hopes she dies.

The boy she fears is near,
This brings to her eyes a tear.

The boy slaps,
The might to fight back she lacks.

An hour later the girl would be found in a puddle of
Red,
On the floor nothing, but dead...

**This was based on a incident that happened at my after school program. This boy and girl were fighting and they were really mad. The girl kept on going "Go on Hit me, Hit me!!!" So then with out her expecting it he punches her in the face!" She is ok, but it was such a horrid ordeal.

The might to fight back she lacks.
this sounds improper im nto sure but it just does i think it needs a comma inbetween back and she
it was pretty good poem
very sad and the picture freaked me out more than the poem itself did
im glad the girl is ok
and even though it was just a punch and it was wrong there are things way worse in life
take my poem i love you guys for instance
way worse
and a school incedent at my school earlier this year
it is short and to the point i think you could be more descriptive
great poem
but yet sad
