Flames: Soft and Dark
by Linda Hernandez
copyright 10-21-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

alone
on fire
between the dark soft
smell of your lips
thirsty
for your silk
like simple shooting stars
dropping steadily above us
I wished to stay there
but too many flashing tomorrows
hung above us
alone now
the driving splendor
of that plush velvet darkness
sways steadily silently
within
we were both waiting
for our thirst to end
alone
under a night of stars
a shooting gallery
a storm of desire
where are you tonight
I am waiting
for you
and still I thirst
between
the dark soft flames
of your lips
alone

A very beautiful, gentle flowing, erotic poem. I loved this poem very much.

Vivid images you inspire in this sensual poem, I like the wording very much.
