Whistlin' In The Wind

  Whistlin' In The Wind

Do you fear the bombs...
That fall from far above?
Hidden underground
You'll be safe, my love.

The good old days are gone
Replaced with how they are...

No expectations - Only explanations
That don't matter anymore.

Do you fear the night...
That hides the truth from sight?

Whistlin' in the wind
Sounds carry in the dark
Whistlin' in the wind
The end grows near in sight.

The good old days are gone
Replaced with how they are...

No expectations - Only explanations
That don't matter anymore.

Do you fear the night...
That hides the truth from sight?

Whistlin' in the wind
Sounds carry in the dark
Whistlin' in the wind
The end grows near in sight.

You'll be safe, my love
I'll hide you in my arms
Here, beneath the ground
We wait for the final sound.

Whistlin' in the wind
Sounds carry in the dark
Whistlin' in the wind
The end grows near in sight.

Whistlin' in the wind
Sounds carry in the dark
Whistlin' in the wind
The end grows near in sight.

I Liked this song, as I like all of your songs.
They are truly poetry set to music.
I especially like the chorus here, really gives it a haunting quality.

I'm a blue-grass musician and I can quite easily imagine this as a blue-grass song, although I doubt that's what you had in mind.

Great stuff, keep them coming,

~Rich
