First we expected you,
Then you were born.
You turned one,
And now you're going to be two.
Life has gone by,
Like never before,
You're talking...
laughing, and running.
Every time I look at you,
I just have to smile,
You're getting so big,
With everyday you make Mummy so proud.
Talking English and Spanish,
Pulling those faces...
and splashing mummy when we're in the pool,
There's nothing better.
How you call daddy when he comes home,
It makes your heart skip a beat.
As you can hear the love in your voice,
As you run with your arms outstretched.
I can't believe how fast you're growing,
And every night when I watch you sleeping,
I give you a kiss, and say good night,
Even though I know you'll be in my bed by four.
I love you so much,
And Daddy does too.
We'll always be here,
watching you grow.
