*something about this song the music it just got me going on this poem i don't know if it will help you when ur reading but for me...*

I miss the way you used to look at me,
The way your fingers gently caressed my face.
You made me feel special,
Warm inside and complete.

But what am I saying you're still here,
Look, right next to me...right here.
But my mind betrays me,
Because you're still looking away.

I feel embarrassed that you won't take my hand,
Or maybe it's you who is embarrassed.
I have so much anger and pain,
But don't get me wrong; I'm strong.

The way your arms used to be wrapped,
Right round my waist keeping me warm.
You conveniently caught my tears,
And won my battles...then gave me everything.

Fairy tales always have a happy ending,
But I'm just stuck in the middle of my book.
One day I'll reach the last page,
Dragon slayed; win my happy family.

As my eyes glaze over,
I see in the distance you're still there,
A shadow follows you and she doesn't let go,
It hurts so much to be alone.

Alone when I've had you're touch,
But don't worry I'll fight because I love you!
Because we have a family,
Because I know you're still you somewhere.

You're not so far away,
I'll find you,
But don't turn the other way,
Just wait for me.

Love is inpatient,
But love has a way of waiting...
Don't drift too far,
Don't leave me with wounds to deep to heal.

No more words like knives,
I'm coming...

Wait!

Hi Em,

This is such a moving poem. I was almost moved to tears. If this is you I applaud your love and courage.

Fairy tales always have a happy ending,
But I'm just stuck in the middle of my book.
One day I'll reach the last page,
Dragon slayed; win my happy family.

No more words like kni(v)es,*
I'm coming...

Wait!

These stanzas were awesome to me.
Every poem you write gets better and better.

Please keep writing -this was so outstanding.

......
this is such a horrible turn in love.
i myself have never experienced this, but i think right now possibly im the one that might hurt someone and its not even for someone else.
*slams head into desk*
talk about confusing
i love how you tell him to wait up and in the poem to tell him your still there.
its so sad how people fall in and out of love. i also love how you make it seem like a book or something and your in the middle.
good job
