Hey little black sheep
Have you any love?
No sir, no sire
That bag is sold.
One for my best friend
Beautiful as gold.
One for the boy
Who lives down the road.
Dear little black sheep
I won’t wait for long.
No worries, no prob
The next wont be sold.
~
Hey little black sheep
Has your love been sold?
Yes sir, yes sir
To one so bold.
One for my best friend
The other for the bold.
I'm sorry there mister
Maybe you should fold.
Dear little black sheep
I won’t wait for long.
Don't sir, don't sir
You should just fold.
~
Dear little black sheep
Can I get your love?
Yes sir, yes sir
As much as you can hold.
You were once my best friend
Now you're much more.
Yes, you have won
My heart is now yours.
Dear little black sheep
I love you ever so.
I love you, I love you
Forev-er more.

Authors Note: Yes, this does have the same rhythm as the nursery rhyme "Ba Ba Black Sheep". For some reason, that rhyme was playing in my head while this idea came to mind.
There is a story behind this poem as well. Please, read this after you've read the poem, but the story is that in my freshman year of high school I met a boy. He was my best friend, and helped me through quite a few problems of my own. For three years, he tried to build up the courage to ask me out, until finally in our junior year he did. Hence, the three segments of this work.
