Another step I have to take,
Another task I have to do.
Even though my life’s at stake,
I will do it just for you.

I’m here lying on the ground.
I never thought that I could fall.
You want to turn my fate around-
Even though I’ve lost it all.

My life is dark- so pitch black,
Scars still lie upon my skin.
I am trying to hold back…
I can’t stop and just give in.

I need to move on very fast,
Cause it’s you I’m fighting for!
Shall I turn back to my past?
Not again, no… never more!

Not another tear of fear,
No more bloodshed on my part,
No more putdowns I shall hear,
Just for you- I’ll mend my heart!

I feel alone- but shall not bleed,
Cause you’re there to get me through.
I am starting to succeed,
And it’s all because of you!

I will live another day,
I will love each and every breath.
I won’t pretend I’m not ok,
I’m not heading straight to death!

Not yet… I'm keeping strong.
I’m going to have to heal.
You’ve made me see my wrong-
That my nightmares are not real.

It’s another step I have to take,
Another task I have to do.
Even though my life’s at stake,
I will do it just for you.

Good girl! Stay strong. Your writing style reminds me of mine when I was your age! 15 was a GREAT age for me. I went through the same learning processes as it seems you are going through. Life gets "clearer" as you age and the big stuff becomes very small as it all becomes life lessons! You will see! Celebrate the disappointments as well as the happiness in life. It is all there to teach!
