I was going through your library and, for some reason, the title caught my eye. Maybe because roses and I have been friends for a long time. ^^
This was so sad. And not. The not being that the joy was there to begin with and that allowed the rose to die.
The presentation and development wounded me with every stanza. And at the very end, I picked myself up, off the ground, because of the many thorny wounds my poor heart had suffered.
beautiful writing such heartfelt belief in your subject. I love poetry and sometimes it doesn't make sense to me and I get upset not getting it but this I get and I can relate. You write about life a thing everyone goes through and my favorite thing roses. cool

Very good, write. Definitely a favorite. I love the rhymes, and even though some were predictable, they take a different approach. Beautifully written.
Creativity knows no age, a strong voice in this piece, a strong drive, you were able to make my ears stand, feeling more than understanding, a whisper hanging soft on the edge, special this write, enjoyed.. Walt
Ahhh, the temperamental skill of telling a large story in few words has faltered slightly. The repetition of "Even roses die" is very interesting and thought-provoking, but your paragraphs could have been a little longer in some places. You're dealing with the Most-Annoying-Critic-Of-The-Week here, so don't feel bad. If a poem gets past me without at least one thing that distracts from perfection it's a sign of Ragnarok. ^-^
Okay, back on topic! No Norse Mythological rantings for me! Also, despite my big fancy words (I use them to dramatize the situation ^-^) the only two paragraphs that seemed a little off balance were the second and third. Everything went on strong after that.
Overall, I really like the comparison and idea behind this one. Hey, lookie here! Each paragraph is four lines. Maybe I just missed something. XD Anyway, the picture was a nice touch to this one too. Good work!
