Confused about my identity
While trying to live in reality
Questions that you need to figure out
You want to know what I'm all about
I wouldn't worry about me
How about you let it be?
I'll scream at you until I can't anymore
I'll show you a side I've never shown before
I'll cry my eyes out if I want
I don't care if they laugh and taunt
I'll run to you if I'm scared
You'll know when my temper has flared
I'll laugh when I feel like it
I'm only calm for a little bit
I wear my emotions on my sleeve
I'm so childish and naive
I have problems as do you
I voice them louder, It's what I do
I have a big attitude
I'm loud and I'm rude
I don't need to go to a shrink
I'll tell you what I think
Figuring things in your mind
"Are those hints she left behind?"
Her gaze is so warm and kind
What's going through her mind?
I'm a child and a woman
I'm filled with imperfection
I'll be silent and I'll scream
I'll be reasonable and I'll dream
I'm hot and I'm cold
I'll never fit the mold
I hate and I love
I push and shove
I'm never going to change
Yes, I'm Strange.

Nothing wrong with being strange. I think that's the lot of every good writer. Our legacy, you might say. Your persona is certainly a bundle of youthful contradictions, isn't she. A good, strong statement of yourself in this never-to-be-repeated time of life. Enjoy.

This sounds like someone breaking out of a mold. Blossoming as the illustration suggests, testing the waters moving downriver (one little pinkie toe at a time) as she breaks away from the mainstream.
I really enjoyed this! Being different makes us girls (Ladies in the making) so much more interesting. My worst fear when I was growing up, would have been, to be accused of being boring. Being unusual is such a grand blessing.
Strange, meet even Stranger!
Smiling... while reading your lines.
