You dress in all pink,
You don't care what I think.
"What a loser!" you say.
You think the world must go your way.
You think I haven't heard
How you called me a nerd.
"Wanna talk about your problems?" you say.
I just glare and turn away.
Preppy hair, preppy clothes,
Names like Hailey, Maddie, and Rose.
Preppy shoes, preppy writing,
And your hair-pulling, preppy fighting.
Fake eyes, fake smile
Go with your preppy style.
Fake beauty, fake friend.
Your nice is just pretend.
Preppy books, preppy lies,
And your pathetic preppy cries.
Preppy color, preppy car,
A preppy loser, that's what you are.

Haha! I LOVED this! We've all met those girls before! :) I liked how easy it was to follow, but you left out no detail. You described everything about how you feel about the subject without the words becoming to overwhelming. You're very good at helping people understand, and holding their attention in the process.

It was very flowing and easy to read, but not all preps like pink, I mean, I love pink xD but I don't act like a total meanie face* I mean thats what really bugs me, when girls act like they're the best. I just want to tell them to grow up!
*xD Not what I was actually thinking...

Megan I so agree about what this poem says. I agree with the people you have mentioned and they are preppy losers. They all pretend to be your friend, but they make fun of you behind you backs.

*whacks forehead* So THAT'S what preppy means! I linked a friend to a picture of one of my favorite Xenosaga characters and she said, "He looks preppy." I then asked her what in the seven hells preppy meant and she didn't even know. -.- I am definitely linking her to this poem and poking her about it for a week. XD *hugs Rubedo plushie*
Anyway, the revelation was much appreciated but the poem held up to my automatic intrigue to the topic and idea. I'm glad to see you're posting poems again. ^-^ There was a while I didn't see any new ones, and I was kinda of disappointed.
The descriptions and comparisons were very interesting. They kept things flowing but painting a perfect picture in the reader's mind. I also picked up on some of the rhymes. :D Very, very good work on this piece! Keep it comin'!
I officially relinquish four points of praise unto you.
Oh! *first comment dance*
