Where Does She Lie? (Song)
by Cassie S. (Age: 15)
copyright 04-20-2008

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Where has she gone?
Where does she lie?
The girl hidden deep inside.
The memories,
Times of no worries.
Sometimes I look back,
look back and see her,
but deep down I know,
I know she's gone forever.
She's been hurt too many times,
it's not worth all the lies.

*hook*
Where has she gone?
Where does she lie?
The girl hidden deep inside.
*hook*

I miss the times of fun and play,
I'd do anything to re-live one day.
The memories flood back,
happy times and joy,
just one girl, and one boy.
Not a boyfriend that will lie,
just a best friend who won't be shy.

*hook*
Where has she gone?
Where does she lie?
The girl hidden deep inside.
*hook*

Maybe someday I'll find her,
and be happy again.
No troubles with ignorant men.
Just a world without a worry.
A mind with no fury.

Where has she gone?
Where does she lie?
The girl hidden deep inside...

We grow, we learn and we change. Who we are is compiled by what we see and hear and think. Once a thought is there, we can never be the same. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. Will you ever find her....yes, but she knows more now and won't be the same. Life is funny sometimes, but it is worth the ride. Good luck and I hope you find happiness! Anthony
