I don't want to sound like an old man, but you have so much more to experience. We all have things in our past that we would like to forget, but that doesn't make us bad. It just says we made a few bad choices. You are worthy of love and relationships. This is a poem and a song. It shows how many feel and that makes it very useful. Don't be too hard on yourself. A good biting song that would benefit from a close edit, like where to put the refrain--after every verse or after every two verses. And you might, if so desired, try a little straight forward imagery. Anyway: My, you can be cynical! "You just don't know." Wow. We need more gutsy writers like you. Don't you dare quit on us, hear?

It sounds like song to me with it's repetition lines, but i seem too long to be a poem. It sounds like the person in the poem is unsure of herself. Sometimes she feels worthy of him, sometimes she doesn't. I wonder which.
NEEEway, good poem. I agree with Lauren, and those are also my favorite lines.
