  3 Haiku, vol.  2
Picture Credits: http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/mekelhorn

Old, ancient oak tree
Feels Spring showers returning
Graveside songs are sung.

~~~~~
Nightly breezes sing
Shy owl serenades his love
Silent snake hunting.
~~~~~

Windy, Summer night
Fireflies wink lust for mates
Silken spider spins.

Wow! First! These, both pages, are simply splendid. The combination of images in the second:
"...
Shy owl serenades his mate
silent snake hunting"
reminds me a bit of similar images in my own "Meghan Jo", though that's sheer coincidence, there are so many haiku I'll bet Issa had one like it! Moves me to make another collection of my own one of these days. Fine work, as always.
