Earth Turned Promise Kept

Authors note: I have tasted every bit of life, some how it is always the bitter that makes the sweet acceptable. We write over the paper into cyber space, count the coins and awards, but nothing is as sweet as the simple words "I liked that". When it comes from a child, your heart smiles.

April fools lie a sword down
To remind the sound
Of trumpets played

In a reflection of stars
We take
Every excuse
To live

Up all night in watching
Chair
Lady stopped to wipe his
Head

Says it will be okay
I pray

Angel on wings stops to sing
Another day

Night wind called
You died

I cry

In the dark of earth
Idead are born

And the monk
Head is shorn
Silence let
I promise
Son
Never to forget

Little flowers
Painted on stars
Barbershop
Cars
That goes nowhere

Sleep keeps
Like prayers
Going to learning stairs
We of hope
Care

I often wonder what it is that makes it compelling for Man to share his thoughts and dreams and fears and tears, like this. Regardless of the Primal urge to let the rest know that a Universal truth has been found, and that it is worth sharing, there is still a profound personal depth to this sharing that will never be completely known by anyone other than the one experiencing the revelation.

Every one should hear a child's smile.

Thank you, Walt. ^^
