Where I Want To Wake Up

Where I Want To Wake Up

In a world of hopes and dreams
In a world free from the screams
In a world of forgiveness and trust
In a world free of pain and lust
In a world blind to race and creed
In a world with no hate and greed
In a world of sweet words and songs
In a world where everyone belongs
In world that I want to wake up in.

In a house where we'd live together
In a house where we'd be safe in stormy weather
In a house where we'd share our stories
In a house where we'd all be buddies
In a house where we'd build a lifetime of memories
In a house where we'd have lazy saturdays
In a house where I want to wake up in

In a room surrounding me in warmth and love
In a room surrounding me in sunlight from above
In a room surrounding me in sweet words
In a room surrounding me in chirps of birds
In a room where I want to wake up in

In the arms of safety known by few
In the arms of an angel called you
In the arms of someone I belong to.

I want to wake up with you.

We all would like the place that you talk about and to some degree we will find it. Probably not all of it, but at least some. This is a very honest write and feelings that we share. I too want to wake in the arms of a loved one, for that is heaven on earth! Great write, Anthony
