One more time the winds blow sharp and cold
Another time the path has turned to stone
the blizzard rises up again its tone
to frost the flowers able to unfold
Under late spring's sky dark and bleak
Where once fair blossoms bloomed abundantly
Lay gently on a stream benevolently
Kissed the soft earth shyly on her cheek
I hear a step upon a dried out twig
Long I've recognized that sound awaiting
The smell of Jasmine taste of sweet sweet fig
I know you on the ice your figure skating
Wait, the harsh winds fade into the night
Look, the nightingale gives up its flight

When one stands in the, if not face of, but certainly company of a presence that compels the images to be witnessed, each word to be gently heard, each sound to whisper across the ear, each taste to tingle on the tongue, and long-lost fragrances to again waft in full delight, one may know, in fact, that some treasures on this earth and those beyond, are valued beyond the measure of a critic's pen. ^^
