The Patient Rose
by Richard Reed Jr
copyright 05-26-2008

Age Rating: 10 to 127

The Rose Is Patient

with the earth he finds
through his pains, he grows.

He cannot help

but to discover
what is true,

Bewildering
Battles he survives,

Enduring

breaking burdens,

all to be with her.

The rose enriched by earth

In turn brings beauty to her lot

Lavishing in the waters of the rain

Time,

evaporating

leaves but the moment.

And in that consummation

How many sweet dreams

sleep

How many heavens

wake

All earth should be so fortunate as to produce its own poetic rose. You are the master of romance in word and deed. Thank you, Ricky, for this beautiful gift.........xo Juney

There are some things, some moments, some experiences, that will ever remain so private, as they should, between two lovers, that anything written in their language can only be for them--for each other.

The depth and profundity of your love is penned in a way that would should have most writers studying this work. Especially those who aspire to share love's dreams with us.

Thank you for sharing this with us. ^^

Happy Birthday, June! ^_^
