I Know Now

Behind every person there is a story.
Complexing as mine is...I perfer to keep my mine inside.
Involving four different families,
One Catholic girls home to boot.
I am as unorthodox as you can get.

My childhood as many others was mentally & physically abusive.
In my teens I was rebellious and growing angry.
In adult hood I had an affair with the bottle of twenty-six years.
For the things that I have done I am not proud, sad really.
Now the affair is over and I must never forget where I've been.

Sights, events, conversations....memories to me.
Nothing surprises me and I've nothing to hide.
Five times I lost my possessions , all I had.
In computer terms, five times I had to reboot.
Though a few of them have changed I still have my sorted morals.

I know now what I want in life, absolutely positive.
Somone to love, care and grow with, bringing out the best in me.
To be her rock, someone to calm her fears.
If I say I love you it's not for nothing....Hear Me.
May we prosper....and a love begin.
