Hourglass Waning

Tides are turning!

Shivers floating
Upon sheets
Chenille
Sunrises
Lace edgings

Mast trellis climbs
Full sail leads

Vine of line is reaching
By speaking

"Seashells sparkled under
Cascading white water
Beginnings

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unannounced
Cloudy skies slithered alongside plummeting shadow
Tinted ugly in their arrival
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charcoal matted
Raggedy framed

Bottomless
Endings
Surfaced

Stinging ray's skipping
Across
Dark water

Future seascapes weighing
Heavily
On the ballast

Flickering silhouetted images
Hauntingly
Abound

Sea breeze plays Songs
Unforgettable
Melody lost

Soul wrenched landing
Piers lie
Beached swimmer treads thin-tiring

Mutiny in the sands
Shuffling
Soon shifting

In the mist
Your stacked deck
Is scattering

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waking clerestory breakers search
For survivors
Lantern swings
Hastening!
Pivoting purple and peach
Skyline
Echos
Beacons plead!
Reverse-Reverse-Reverse!
Sail home to your safe harbor
Your cove of understanding.
Sailor
Sinking murky depths
Breathe your name
Paddle!
Fishnets snare
Fog is thickening
Lighthouse drifting
You might just lose your
Wife!
Your young happy little family,
Your life"!
