We Will Flourish

The fear is . . .
tasted on our tongues.
Processed in our thoughts.
Felt down to our bones.
It's a flushing
economy and a loss of
jobs and a loss of
hope.
Of hope.
We are . . .
one. A being of
inseparable smaller
parts.
A
body.
And we are cells.
When we are closed
our souls are prisoners.
When we are open
We are . . .
Free.
So open.
Open your doors.
Give when you think you have nothing
and receive with gracious tidings.
Learn so that you may return
the gifts of which you have been granted.
Smile when there is nothing left
but fear,
and hope
hope will surely
follow.
Do not lead but walk together.
Do not blame but join hands
and
fix this
together.
Live your life
solely for your fellow man.
And you
shall be lived for
as well.

Always glad to see a new one of yours that I can really sink my teeth into. Very well done, of your ususal high standard. Flows well and the sentiment is very attractive. Too much hate and bigotry in this world, not nearly enough of pulling together. Good job!
I do miss being here like I use to! I miss your thoughts the most and those of my other friends here. This is a wonderful poem and idea. If we all would just live life and quit trying to belittle others. Life is so much more that having a BMW (although they are nice). You are still in my thoughts, Anthony
this is a lovely poem and it speaks volume to your vision of the world good job. I love the free form you have used...the poem flows beautifully. i find this a refreshing read.
